ADESCO

The beginning…

Dimitris Naoumis and George Xomeritakis met for the first time as colleagues in one of the largest companies importing and distributing security products. George in the technical department and Dimitris in the commercial. After all, these were the areas of their specialization from the beginning of the 90’s where the beginning of their professional life is placed. Then, in 2009, they met again professionally as shareholders in a marketing and installation of security systems SA. When they left together, the creation of ADESCO in the summer of 2011, was the natural evolution. Since then they coexist harmoniously and intend to continue for many more years. Even any disagreements, they turn them into a creative benefit for the company. They constantly travel to Greece and abroad to meet new and existing manufacturers, suppliers and partners, to conclude and review contracts and agreements. Their common vision is to make ADESCO a model company providing IoT products and services in Greece but why not abroad as well.

Establishment
D. Naoumis and G. Xomeritakis found ADESCO. The main object is the introduction, marketing, installation and maintenance of all kinds of security systems. The first headquarters of the company is on Galatsi Avenue in Galatsi.

Important Collaboration
ADESCO becomes an official partner of INTERTECH S.A. which is the official representative of Panasonic products and the exclusive importer of SATEL pl for Greece.

Market Research
The market research for the design of IoT / M2M products and services and their possible adaptation to the Greek market of security systems begins.

Strategic change of course
The management of the company decides and proceeds with a strategic change of course. The first contact is made with the M2M production plant in Bulgaria and the development and production of the first GPRS device with the characteristics and specifications of ADESCO begins.

First samples
The first samples of devices are imported and subjected to the necessary tests in real conditions. The results are excellent and require only minor corrections that are made immediately.

Official partner of VODAFONE
ADESCO concludes a cooperation agreement and becomes the first and only official partner of VODAFONE to date, specializing in the provision of IoT products and services in the field of security. At the same time, the company acquires the VODAFONE Global M2M service platform and starts offering a product with an integrated connectivity service for which it is responsible and guarantees in its entirety.

Cooperation agreements
The first cooperation agreements are concluded with the largest and most important Signal Reception Centers and the first end-user connections are made. At the beginning of 2021, ADESCO services are provided and are compatible with 27 central signal reception stations throughout Greece, with their number constantly increasing.
2015
Piraeus Bank
One of the largest Greek banks gives a vote of confidence.Piraeus Bank assigns to ADESCO the supply of 1200 GPRS devices for its offsite ATMs. The orders are constantly expanding and to date more than 2200 devices have been sold for the needs of the bank.

Headquarters transfer
The headquarters of the company is transferred to a new, modern and functional space with a total area of 255 sq.m. on two levels, in Lykovrysi, Attica.
2017
Expansion in Cyprus
Expansion of activities in Cyprus. After the necessary network adaptations and consultations with Vodafone and local providers, the distribution of ADESCO products and services in Cyprus begins.

New service
The ADESCO Box and the new ADESCO Video service are launched, which has to do with the recording in the Cloud and the conversion of traditional surveillance systems into “smart” systems and advanced subscription services.

New devices
New LTE-M technology communication devices for security systems are now available. They are 5G ready and are not affected by the impending shutdown of older generation (2G / 3G) networks.

Portal ADESCO NET
The interactive Portal ADESCO NET is completed and released. A “tool” to inform and facilitate all customers / partners of the company. At the same time, it is the central basis for coordination and management of all programs, platforms, applications related to the existing and future ADESCO services.

The company implements a management system for information security and is certified according to the standard EN ISO 27001: 2013

Smart Cities
New service in the field of Smart Cities. The Smart Parking System (Smart Parking) is presented in the market and aspires to provide solutions in private and public parking spaces.

Testing for ADESCO‘s new Smart Cities service begins. The lighting management and control system (smart lighting).
